What was the highlight of Hotel O Guerreiro
Lovely place with lovely Staff
I enjoyed everything from the lovely welcoming staff to the facilities themselves. The location was perfect, just next to the river and close to many cafes and restaurants. The room was exceptional with a balcony and a bath, good TV and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was also nice, the selection wasn't too big but what they had was delicious. By the time of our checkout of the hotel the staff presented us with a parting gift which completed an already fantastic stay. All in all, it was a really enjoyable stay for me and my partner and we would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay while they explore the beauty of Ponte da Barca.
If I had to point out anything, probably the size of the selection during breakfast, although, what they had was delicious and varied enough. It also might have been because it was an off season with almost no one staying so I could understand them not wanting to waste food and for that I commend them.

rather spartan hotel with a relatively low level of comfort - perhaps their biggest market is the "pilgrims" who walk the Camino de Santiago
